What was breaking
Operating a connected meeting space means coordinating room configuration, microphones, speakers, and cameras. Separate control surfaces make a simple room change harder to follow, especially when the operator cannot tell whether the equipment accepted a command.
What we built
A room-based control interface with combining presets, a channel-strip audio mixer, camera source selection, and saved camera positions. Commands carry pending, success, failure, and unavailable feedback; confirmed values are refreshed from the control system.
The workflow it carries
- 01
Choose a room
Open the controls for the space being used.
- 02
Set the layout
Select an independent or combined room preset.
- 03
Adjust the room
Set audio levels, sources, and camera positions.
- 04
Confirm the state
See confirmed values and connection feedback.
What changed
Operators can work from one room interface, with connection status and control feedback alongside each task. The application integrates with TapHome and uses authenticated access. The cover is a source-based interface illustration with sample names and values; it contains no customer data or live equipment connection.
What shipped
- 01Room-combining presets bring independent spaces together, with visible transition and connection states.
- 02An audio mixer groups volume and mute controls into channel strips, with confirmed values and feedback when a command fails.
- 03Camera sources, saved PTZ positions, and tracking controls share the same room interface.
